Double moss stitch − Easy and fun to knit!

Double moss stitch is a checkered stitch pattern that lays flat and nice. It also looks the same on both sides, making it a good choice for projects with both sides visible, like scarves and blankets.

It’s a short repeat of four stitches and four rows, which makes it super easy and relaxing to knit. However, it’s a tad more challenging than garter stitch or stockinette stitch.
